Year of my Memory

Stonehocker returns with his latest single, “Year of my Memory”, in which he reminisces about the days of his youth.  The song was written after moving out on his own and finding he missed the relationships that were the foundation of his formative years.  A blend of emotional alternative rock and introspective indie pop, “Year of my Memory” is a battle with depression and a yearning for love.

The track is the first release from Stonehocker since the release of his album “Hello Mr. Hyde” one year ago.  After travelling across Canada for the last year performing shows, Stonehocker returned to the studio to capture some of the songs that resonated with people.  “Year of my Memory” is a beautiful coming-of-age song that follows Stonehocker as he navigates through self-discovery, longing for unrealized dreams and undiscovered love.
